STEWARDSHIP

 

Financial Stewardship at United Community Church is a very important aspect of our members’ call to be involved in the Mission of the church.  Each year members are asked to decide how much they can commit to contribute for the following year, an amount that is confidential and totally up to the individual members.  These pledges become a basis on which the budget for the coming year is based, to provide for the expenses of operation and to support the various ministries of our church.


In addition, members voluntarily support the “Mission of the Month” with their contributions over and above their pledged amounts and these funds totally go to support those missions.


Occasionally, our Congregation is called on to contribute to a financial fund to support some specific need that has arisen, which we call a “Capital Fund”.  These needs have been generously supported by our Congregation in the past.
